Stripping voltammetry and chemometrics assisted ultra-selective, simultaneous detection of trace amounts of heavy metal ions in aqua and blood serum samples

We present a one-step, solid-state synthesis of Al2NiCoO5 nanoflakes (ANC) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for ultra-selective and trace level simultaneous detection HMIs like copper (Cu2+), mercury (Hg2+), cadmium (Cd2+), lead (Pb2+) ions in aqua simulated blood serum samples. ANC/GCE sensor exhibits low limit (LOD = 3S/m) 0.00154 ppb, 0.00232 0.00261 ppb 0.00114 towards Pb2+, Hg2+ Cu2+ Cd2+ ions, correspondingly that are far lower than the perilous limits HMI concentration reported water The quantitative study multiple response analysis each metal accomplished via principal component (PCA) which verifies selectivity with satisfactory recovery percentages. superior performance, reproducibility stability attributed to electrocatalytic active sites ANC facilitated by Ni2+/Ni3+ Co2+/Co3+ redox couple along oxy-functional groups. was efficacious detecting concentrations samples serum, drinking tap good This efficiency demonstrates it as promising platform broad-spectrum environmental bioanalytical applications.
